Happy Tuesday.

I have a fun creation to share with you today.

Isn't this the cutest layout?  I love it.

I created this layout for the Scraptastical Kreations challenge #4, music/lyric inspired.   One of my little boy's first songs he learned was "Monkeys Jumping on the Bed."  He sings it all the time.  He was my inspiration for this challenge.

I used two files from Scraptastical Kreations, Little Monkey and Bedtime Story Boy.  I wrote the lyrics with my pen holder in my Silhouette Cameo and a fine point Sharpie.

Hope my creation has inspired you somehow.

Much scrappy love,

Tonya

Happy Thursday!

This layout was created for Scraptastical Kreations Challenge #8.  If you don't know, Scraptastical Kreations is having a month long birthday celebration.  They are having tons of games and challenges this month.  One thing that is going on is a series of challenges.  If you enter in the challenges, you have a chance to win $50 in files from Scraptastical Kreations.

This challenge uses the freebie file, Dino-Mite Birthday.  I just love this file.  The dinosaur is the cutest, and my oldest boys had a dinosaur obsession.

Be sure to head over to SK's fan page and join in all the fun.

Hope my creation has inspired you somehow.

Much scrappy love,

Tonya

Happy Tuesday!

For the month of July, Scraptastical Kreations is have challenges, games, and a whole lot of fun on their Facebook fanpage for their one year birthday.    For challenge #5 - shape card - I created this:  '

I used SK's Calendar Cuties file.  The month of September has the best leaf cutting file.  I used the leaf, enlarged it, duplicated it, and welded them together to make the base.  I made an inset shadow of th leaf to top the base.  To create the 'veins,' I used a ruler and a bone file to score the lines, bent the lines carefully by hand to raise them, and applied chalk.  I love the look that they give this card.

Supplies:
SK file
Cardstock
foam squares
fluid chalk
distress ink
leaf stamp
button
twine
pearl embellishments

Hope my creation has inspired you somehow.

Made Especially for You Guest Designer

Happy Monday!

I wanted to share with you a card I created as this week's Guest Designer at Made Especially for You.

This week's challenge is to "create a card using the specified technique." The technique is to make an easel card.

I made this card with my granddaughter in mind.  She's turning one in a few months and loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

I used a double sided paper sheet.  (I don't like to waste)  The green x's and o's are the back side, while the Minnie Mouse print is the front.   The Minnie Mouse is just a sticker that I put on pink cardstock and cut out.

Supplies:
Disney Specialty Paper Pad
Hobby Lobby card stock
Minnie Stickers
Ribbon
Fluid chalk
Stamp ink - green
Shaper scissors
Foam squares

Be sure to head over the Made Especially for You Blog and enter your creation.   The winner will receive a $15 gift certificate from this week's sponsor, Paper Piecings by Nikki.

Hope my creation has inspired you somehow.

Supplies:
Cardstock
Core'dinations cardstock
Glitter glue
Embossing folder
Sanding block

Supplies:
Halloween paper
Green cardstock
Halloween stamps - sentiment & bats
Embossing ink
Black embossing powder
Glitter embossing powder

Ink Pad
Prismacolor Pencils
Odorless Mineral Spirits

Happy Friday!

I am sharing a card with you today.

I used the Scraptastical Kreations July Card Sketch Challenge sketch to create this card.

This month is Scraptastical Kreation's first year annivesary.  There are games and challenges going on all month long, along with a huge sale.

I have a particular paper piecing in mind that may end up on this card, if I don't make another, for the challenge.  But I just love it the way it is.

I have Christmas in July fever.  I have bought numerous Christmas themed sheets of paper and embellishments.  And I have pinned dozens of Christmas projects on Pinterest.  :-)  So, when I looked up The Pink Elephant's blog and saw that the theme of this week's challenge is Christmas in July, I thought how perfect for this card.  It's exactly what I was working on!

Supplies:
Card base from Hobbly Lobby
Buttons
DCWV matstack - Christmas
Hobby Lobby Open Stock Paper
Christmas craft border
Sentiment Stamp - Michael's
Fluid Chalk
Shape scissors
Ribbon

Hope my creation has inspired you somehow.

Happy Thursday!

I am sharing with you today a card I made inspired by the Made Especially 4 You July Sketch Challenge

Here is ME4U sketch:

Here's my card:

(This picture as at an angle to show the glitter detail on the sentiment.)

I enjoyed making this card!  My husband came home from a 3 month out-of-state contract about 2 weeks ago, and I haven't crafted much since his arrival.  So, making this card was a relief and quite enjoyable.

Supplies:
Hobby Lobby Open stock paper
Card base from Hobby Lobby
Color Me Crazy Jeweled Florettes
Stamp set from Michael's
Fluid Chalk
Gemstones

Hope I have inspired you somehow with my creation.

Much Scrappy Love,

Tonya

Happy Sunday!

I wanted to share a layout with you.

I was inspired by the Mojo Monday sketch in my creation, and Scraptastical Kreations Summer Project Challenge

I used a photo from my family's first trip to the ocean.  The little girl you see holding my hand is now 14 years old.  How time flies!

The shapes I used are from the Mojo Monday Sketch.  For the flower in the sketch, I used Scraptastical Kreations Light The Way file.

The title/sentiment is written using my bic holder for the cameo.  I just love that tool!

I know this is a bit simple and uninteresting.  I may add a few details later from the SK file.  I am going to sit on a bit and see what comes to mind.  :-)

I am entering this layout in MojoMonday, SK Summer Challenge, and Cameo Creations Challenge

Hope I have inspired you in some way.

Much Scrappy Love,

Tonya

Happy Thursday!

I am sharing with you a project I created for the Scrapping Bug Designs July Challenge

For the challenge, SBD provided the basic form (the gift card holder) and required that an SBD file be used also.  In addition to the basic file, I used the new file that SBD released today, Hanging Out, in honor of a friend that was diagnosed with cancer.  100% of funds generated from this file are donated to her for help with medical costs and family needs.  I purchased the file and found it fitting to use for the challenge.

The cause is something near and dear to my heart.  My youngest brother has been battling cancer for several years now.  He has undergone countless chemotherapy and radiation treatments.  He is now seeing an out-of-state specialist to help fight this battle.  He is a young (34) single father of four wonderful children.  He is loved and needed by many.    There is a Yard Sale/Fundraiser this Friday in his honor to help offset some of the costs associated with his treatments and to help keep his family afloat.

I hope my creation has inspired you somehow.
