Graduation Card

Happy Tuesday!

It's that time of the year.  Seniors are graduating, 5th graders are being promoted, 4K students are graduating.  Graduations for everyone. =)

My stepdaughter is graduating from high school this week.  So I made this little cutie with her in mind.

I used Scraptastical Kreations Graduation Day and Border Set 2 files for this cutie.  I accented with the Twinery twine, liquid pearls, and Peachy Keen Stamps face stamp.

For My Navy Veteran

Happy Memorial Day!!

I wanted to share with you a cute little card I made with my DH as inspiration.  He is a Navy Veteran.  And he is a very proud one at that.  :-)

I used Peach Keen Stamps Simple Simon's face stamps.  I used glossy accents to give his glasses a realistic look.

The flag 'stick' is Timeless Twine with glossy accents to make it stiff.  The flag is cut from the same paper pad as the background.  The star 'pearls' are from Miriam's.

Happy Sunday!

It's time for a card challenge over at Red Carpet Studio Challenge.

Sixteen Candles (1984) Poster

Our inspiration this week is 'Sixteen Candles.'  I LOVE THIS MOVIE.  I have seen it hundreds of times.

So with this movie in mind, this week's challenge is to create a birthday card.

All that Stickles Linky Party

Happy Saturday!

It's time for a new linky party at All that Stickles

I created a pocket card.  My stepson is getting married in June and the color of the wedding is Turquoise and white, that was my inspiration for this project.

The base for this card is a a great file from Design on Cloud 9, one of our wonderful sponsors this month.  I used Turquoise Stickles to outline the card and to highlight a few places on the flocked design on the cardstock.    Vey simple, but elegant.

Get Inky Die Cut Challenge Inspiration

Happy Thursday!

I wanted to share with you my take on the Get Inky's Die Cut Challenge.

I used Blue Moon Creation's Buzzing Bee Stamp Set.  The sentiment and the flowers are both from the stamp set.

(center of flowers with Black Diamond Stickles)

The bee is a die cut from Scraptastical Kreations.  I Stickle her wings, and added a Peachy Keen face in white pigment ink.

Steampunk Floral Card

Happy Wednesday!!

I've been a busy girl today.  =)  This is my second post today.  That has never happened before.

I wanted to share with you a card I created with multiple inspirations.... the first is the Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge, the second is a paper pack I picked up at Michael's for $5, and the third is a Verve Sketch

I just LOVE how this turned out.  It's outside my normal scope of creations.  I love distress, but I don't usually use a steampunk flair.

(The sentiment is from a Peachy Keen Stamp of the Month Set.  The key charm is from Miriam's Crafting Supplies.   The twine is from Timeless Twine.)

Sister/Friend Card

Happy Hump Day!

It's a raining, chilly day here in Northeast Wisconsin.  A very welcome change to the 80+ degrees we've had the last few days.   A great day to sit inside and craft until my heart's content.

Speaking of crafting.....I have a cute little card to share with you.....

I created this card for The PaperNest Dolls Contest with a Verve Stamp Sketch as my inspiration.. (The Verve sketch can be found here.)  And I HAD to use my new stamp set from Sweet & Sassy Stamps

The colored image is from The Paper Nest Dolls, and can be found here.  A bit of funny....at least it is to me.  =)   I purchased this image a few months back....  And when I created the card, I had my sister in mind.  So...........when I created this post and realized the title was "Best Friends & Sisters"....I laughed at myself.   I guess I should have known the title, huh?  *still laughing*

All that Stickles DT Blog Hop

Welcome to the Ice Cream Shoppe Hop brought to you by the
 All that Stickles design team!

Summer is almost here... and that means it's almost time for summer's favorite treat... ice cream! Bring on the cool scoops of your favorite ice cream flavor (mine happens to be Spumoni), the never-ending list of toppings, and of course, you can't forget the cherry on top!

Today the All that Stickles design team has created many different ice cream-themed projects for you to savor. :) And what's our favorite topping?! Stickles, of course!

For my project, I made..

 A Paper Pinwheel Wreath

My inspiration was my favor ice cream.....

I created the pinwheels in the colors/flavors of the ice cream, Pistachio, Cherry, Chocolate.  Yummy!  =)

The pinwheels are a Silhouette Store file.  I used brad to pin them in the middle.  I then used Ice Sticles (Mint Ice, Coffee Ice, and Gold Ice) on the brad tops.  I also painted Mint Stickles on the Pistachio pinwheels.

The pinwheels were glued onto a styrofoam wreath, that I painted pink...so that the Pistachio pinwheels caught the eye more.  For the hanger, I used a piece of the scrap green paper to create it.

We have blog candy for those who are a follower of All that Stickles and leave a comment on every stop of the hop! Winners will be announced Wednesday May 22nd at All that Stickles.

Triple Stamp Card

Happy Wednesday!

I have a card I'd like to share with you.  I LOVE IT.  I have watched other crafters make triple stamped cards.  So I had to try it.  After several attempts and a very frustrated crafter, this was the result.

The butterfly I used is from a Peachy Keen Stamps SOTM.  I used distress ink in Lemonade to color the paper (it looks darker in person).  And I added cotton candy Stickles to the center butterfly.
A bit of Timeless Twine and Pearls from Miriam's.  And Voila!!   =)

Show Me Your Craft Space

Happy Monday!

Craftin Desert Divas is having a "Show me your craft space/room" Linky Party.

I'm not fortunate to have a craft room, per se.  But I have taken over a portion of our formal dining room to use.  We have some little ones, and for safety, I have to be on the first floor and within sight distance of them, at all times.  :-)

Here's my crafty space.....

Because I have little ones, I have ALOT of containers...also not pictured is a build in cabinet on the opposite corner of the room with extra paper, an embossing machine, Xyron sticker machine, etc.

As you can see, my room isn't fancy or very user friendly...but it fits my needs at the moment and the needs of the family.

Rec Carpet Studio Card Challenge

This week is a card challenge, and please welcome our card guest designer this month, Erica!

Inspired by the movie, "Baby Mama," this week's challenge is to create a baby-themed card!

Here's my creation......

I used a border from Eureka Stamps.  I imported it into my cameo, and used the trace with the print n cut featuer.  The border was colored with copics and yellow Stickles were added to the stars (the picture does not show that very well).  The sentiment stamp is from Peachy Keen Stamps.

Be sure to head over to Red Carpet Studio and link up your card.

All that Stickles Linky Party

Happy Saturday!!

It's time for a new linky party over at All that Stickles!!

The theme this party is Cotton Candy Stickles!  Create ANY crafty project and use Cotton Candy Stickles too.

I created a GC holder/card with my daughter in mind.  I had this paper stack from Michael's with a Paris/France theme.  I was dying to use it!  The paper was pretty awesome already...but I jazzed it up a bit with Cotton Candy Stickles.

(Stickles on the arrow, with Timeless Twine)

 Stickles on the bicycle

Stickles on the cupcake

Peachy Keen Stamps 3D Flowers Challenge

Happy Tuesday!

I wanted to share with you a gift card holder that I created for one of my daugther's teacher.  I just LOVE it...it turned out so cute!

I used Scraptastical Kreations' Past Flower Freebie file, with a Peachy Keen Face, for the focal point.   I used Verve Stamps monthly challenge #1 sketch as my inspiration.

Mojo Monday Creation

Happy Monday!!

I want to share with you creation. I orginally started out making this project for for Peachy Keen's May Challenge #1.   Then I saw Mojo Monday's Sketch this morning.

And I thought this paper would be perfect!!

The banner and border on the bottom panel are from Scraptastical Kreations.  The other pieces, including the banana, I created with my Silhouette Cameo.  The face on the banana and sentiments (both inside and out) are from Peachy Keen Stamps
