I wanted to share this little cutie with you all.   I have been 'practicing' my coloring skills.  I still think I need lots and lots more practice.  But my skills are coming along.  Also, I need to figure how to align things straight.  I didn't notice the pearls were not perfectly aligned until after the pciture was taken, and, of course, glued down.  =)

I created this card for The Paper Nest Contest

Scraptastical Kreations Design Team Creation

Happy Wednesday out there in Scrappy Land!  :-)

I wanted to share with you this sweet little card I made (and sent with my granddaughter's Easter package).

I used the egg cut from Scraptastical Kreations' Calendar Cuties file (April Bear).  I enlarged it to about 5 X 7 and created a welded shaped base.  I used textured cardstock for the colors.  I think textured cardstock gave this card more depth.  And of course for a granddaughter, the card must have Stickles.  I outlined the pattern using yellow and pink Stickles.

The banner is a cut from Scraptastical Kreations' Element Me This file.  I stamped the sentiment, flower, and butterfly from the newest Peachy Keen Stamps club set.  I then colored the flower and butterfly with Copics, plus a touch of Stickles.

Supplies:
Cardstock
Fluid Chalk
Stickles
Copics
PKS Stamp set

And Scraptastical Kreations has a Design Team challenge going on...where you could win $15 in files.  Click HERE to see my project.

Happy Saturday!

It's finally March.  Spring is around the corner.  I just hope the weatherman gets the memo.  ;-)

This week's All that Stickles linky party theme is Green Stickles.

For my creation, I made a beer mug shaped card.  Since St. Patrick's Day is just a few weeks away, and I think of green colored beer, I thought this card would be perfect.  I used the mug from Scraptastical Kreations' Beary Luck fileThe base is a welded shape card.  Thought it would be fun to use vellum for the mug.  I wanted a frosty mug look, but my vellum had too pearl of a finish.  But think it worked ok.  Green Stickles were used outline the mug.  The foam is outlined in crushed olive distress Stickles.   The tag is another Scraptastical Kreations' file, Element Me This.  The sentiment is drawn with my cameo and marker holder.

Supplies:
Stickles
Scraptastical Kreations files
Cardstock
Fluid chalk
Vellum
Gel pens
