It's time for another Red Carpet Studio Challenge.
Our theme is.............
"The Nutcracker"
Use ribbon and lace on your project.
I enjoyed this challenge so very much. Nutcrackers are my favorite thing!! I have over 30 of them...really! And I add more and more each year.
I started with Nutcracker stamp from the Unity Stamp Co. I LOVE this little guy...as you may have guessed. :-D I colored him the traditional green, red, and gold. (Copics: R12, R14, R20, R39, R46, E00, E11, E50, G12, G14, G17, Y28, N1, N3, N5, 110, 0)
Since the Xpress Card I used is a bright white, I distressed the card with Antique Linen Distress Ink after I colored the stamp.
The papers are from an Old World Christmas pad from Hobby Lobby. My lace is from Hero Arts and my ribbon is from Lovebug Creations. I added some pop candy and stickled them up with Candy Cane Stickles. To add a bit of pazzaz, a mistletoe brad.
Isn't such a perfect card for the challenge? I think so. :-)

Hi. Saw this on unity and had to tell you how pretty it is. The nutcracker is colored so beautifully. The background paper ( love Hobby Lobby for paper) is perfect as is the lace and ribbon. Thanks for sharing.
