3D Blog Hop and Scrapbooking Challenge

Welcome to the Cardz TV Anything Goes 2 Day Blog Hop!!!!!

You are in for a treat!  The wonderfully talented DT have some awesome creations to show you using the new Cardz TV Stamp Sets

........................................................................................................

The Scrapbooking Queen has a new challenge on the 30th of the month...which just happened to coincide with the blog hop.  The theme this month for the Scrapbooking Queen is leaves....and when I saw the new Many Thanks Cardz TV stamp set...I couldn't believe how perfect they were for both the challenge AND the blog hop!   Hooray for me!  :-D

Below is the image that the DT had to use for our challenge inspiration.........

Here's what I came up with..............

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE how this turned out.

The leaves were resized using my Silhouette Cameo software, printed, then colored with Copics and fussy cut.  To give a bit of dimension in the shadow box card, I used foam tape.  I highlighted the veins of the leaves with my new Wink of Stella clear brush pen for a bit of fun.

I stamped the sentiment from the new Cardz TV Many Thanks Stamp Set with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.  To bring a bit of focus to the sentiment, I added a few enamels dots.

Supplies:
Teresa Collins Enamel Dots
Twine
Copics
Wink of Stella Brush Pen
Cricut Explore
Printer

   ........................................................................................................

What would a blog hop without a bit of blog candy....
Mary from Cardz TV will be giving away TWO STAMP SETS to one lucky commenter (and follower) of the Cardz TV blog

Here is the line up for the hop

Peacy Keen - "Just A Recipe"

Happy Wednesday!

It's a B-E-A-U-tiful fall day here in the upper Midwest.  Enjoying it tremendously!

On this lovely day I wanted to share with you my PKS challenge creation.  This week's theme is "Just Cards: Can I Have That Recipe?"

I am a mother of many.  :-)  So when I think of recipes, I think of my kids.  And one recipe that we were exposed to when we first moved up here a number of years ago was Puppy Chow.  In the South, we never eat it.   It was all barbeque and sweet tea.  ;-)

I used three PKS stamp sets, PKSC-21PKSC-20,  and PKSC-04.  I'm not extremely happy with the way my puppy's head turned out in the picture.  But I don't think I'm ever happy with my coloring.  :-)

I added some liquid pearls in Hot Cocoa.  The papers are from a DCWV Halloween/Fall stack.

For the details on the inside of the card, I merged to files in my Silhouette Cameo.  The paw prints are just darling, aren't they?

Red, White, & Blue at Get Inky!

Happy Monday!
It's time for another challenge over at Get Inky! Our theme this challenge is Red, White, & Blue.
HERE'S my layout.............
Each year our small city has a fireworks show on the lake. And every year, we take the kids. So I thought I'd start putting the pictures in a scrapbook. =) This will be the first page.
I take my inpsiration from my paper and sketchs. So when I ran across this Mojo Monday sketch, I thought PERFECT.
For the basic layout, I imported the sketch into my Silhouette Studio Software and created all the shapes.

I used Get Inky's Joyful Jar Drinks set.   The stamps gave just the right amonut of interest for this piece.  The stamps (Love, Life, & Live) are actually three seperate stamps. So I placed them on my paper, between the stripes where I liked them.  Then, I used my stamp press and was able to stamp them repeatedly without any adjust to the stamps' placement.

I used the same technique to stamp them on the bottom left corner of my layout. I also added the three dots from the Joyful Jar Drinks stamp set.

For my project, I made.......

This beautful card for my hubby!  =)

The theme of the hop is...Repeat.  My repeat is in the background of my card.  I created the backgroud using hearts from two Get Inky! Stamp set, Buzzing Bees & Sew Sweet Cupcakes.  I used a resist technique.  I stamped the hearts with Versamark ink on white cardstock; then  heat embossed with a Recollections brand sparkly embossing power (see below photo).  After embossing, I inked the cardstock with Festive Berried Distress ink.  As you can see the hearts have a white background, the original color of the cardstock, as the embossed areas resisted the ink.

The sentiment is from the Sew Sweet Cupcake stamp set.

Happy Monday!!

I want to share with you creation. I orginally started out making this project for for Peachy Keen's May Challenge #1.   Then I saw Mojo Monday's Sketch this morning.

And I thought this paper would be perfect!!

The banner and border on the bottom panel are from Scraptastical Kreations.  The other pieces, including the banana, I created with my Silhouette Cameo.  The face on the banana and sentiments (both inside and out) are from Peachy Keen Stamps

Floral Fun

Happy Wednesday!!!

We have a new challenge over at Get Inky! Challenge Blog - Fabulous Floral Fun!!

The theme requires the use of flowers on your project.  I used the Blue Moon Creation's Buzzing Bees Stamp Set to create this card.  The stamp set has a flower included, but no leaves/stems. So I got creative. :-) The set includes two 'bee tracks,' one dashed and one solid lined. I took the solid 'tracks' and inked just the portion I wanted and stameds the 'stems and leaves,' then stamped the flower on top. Perfect!! After I added the bee and his trail, I used distress inks (Salty Ocean & Mowed Lawn) to color the background. The flowers and bee were colored with distress and Copic markers. Pearls were added to the centers to give the card some dimension. A touch of icicle Stickles to finish the bee's wings.

Go Get Inky! and link your creation up HERE.

Supplies:
Card base
Memento Ink

Happy Wednesday!

I wanted to share with you a card I made inspired by the Get Inky! Bling Challenge.

I used the Sew Sweet Cupcakes from Get Inky! Stamps for the cupcake and the Happy Birthday sentiment.

I stamped the cupake twice, once on white cardstock, and once on patterned paper.  I cut the 'wrapper' out of the patterned paper to use as an overlay.

I colored the top of the cupcake with a light colored copic.  Then I stickled the paper and outer edge of the top of the cupcake.  The sentiment banner was created by stamping the sentiment with Memeno ink.  I cut the edges with a pair of shaped scissors.  Then I inked the edge with fluid chalk and finished it off with matching Stickles.

Get Inky!'s challenge is live until the 27th.   The winner could receive this stamp set....

So be sure to head over and link up your creation.
