Yeti Wobble

Happy Tuesday!!

Time for some Action Wobbles Inspiration.
I created a cute card with one of my favorite stamp sets from Pretty Cute Stamps.

The Yeti was put on an Action Wobble. .
 (in 'action')

The wobble was bit big for my image, so I cut it a bit to fit
I have the cutting file for this adorable Yeti...so when I saw the new stamp set, I JUST had to have it.  It is so fun to color.  In fact, I've colored him a few times because my 6 year old loves him just as much as I do, and he takes off with my colored images to put in his room.  :-D

The mountains were cut with my Cricut from the Create a Critter cartridge.

I cut the mountains out of black and white cardstock.  I layered the black cutouts to create the mountain range.  The white mountains were sprayed with Liquid Pearls Mist Spray, then the tops were layered on the black cardstock to create 'glistening' snow tops.
The background is a piece of Xpress Blending card colored with Copic markers.

Sending Sunshine with Action Wobbles

Happy Tuesday!

I am posting on the Action Wobble blog with today's inspiration.

I created this cute little card to send to my daughter.  She is visiting family, and I LOVE to send her little Hellos.

I used Peachy Keen Stamps February 2014 Stamp of the Month Set.  This set is perfect for action wobbles!

I stamped the bear body and 2 heads on to Xpress Blending Card.  The second head was put on an action wobble.

The trees, sun, and clouds are all colored with Copics.

Sweet Card

Happy Wednesday!

It's stormy here this morning...but that's just fine with me.  It gives me a reason NOT to go anywhere and craft the day away.  :-)

The card I'm sharing with you today did not turn out the way I had envisioned.  For some reason the color combo looked MUCH better in my head and than it does on my card.

This card was inspired by the current Peachy Keen Stamps Photo challenge.

PKC-14-10

I LOVE the colors!  But for some reason, they didn't sit well on my card, visually.  It looked very plain and melded together......so I added a black panel to bring the eye more towards the focus of the card.

I used the PKS June SOTM set for the adorable clown and ticket.

They were colored with Copics, glossy accents were added to the lenses of his glasses and a bit of yellow Spica pen to his bow tie and cuffs.

The mouth is drawn freehand with a Copic multiliner, since the face I chose didn't have one.  :-)

I used another clown and face from the June SOTM set for the inside, and the ticket from PKS Circus Treats stamp set.

My Little Pony Coloring Page

Happy Sunday!!

Did you know that The Scrapbooking Queen has a DT Call going on?

The theme of the challenges will be with coloring book images.  How fun is that?

To apply to her call, the Queen has provided a sweet pony image.

To get started, I researched who this little beauty was.  She is Applejack - a blonde pony with green eyes, red apples, red hair ties, and a brown hat.

I have a 7 year old girl who LOVES My Little Pony (along with Strawberry Shortcake & Barbie), so I thought I'd stay true to Applejack's character.  You never know what she may end up on for my little girl.  :-)

I imported the image into my Silhouette software, to use with the print and cut feature.  She was cut out at.  I cut her out (approximately 3.5" x 4") of Xpress cardstock for use with my Copics.
