Congratulations to the Happy Couple

Happy Friday!

It's time for a new Cardz TV 3D challenge.  The challenge theme is 'Wedding/Bridal Shower.'

I used only black and white cardstock to create this beautiful card.

For the rings and heart (between the doves) were colored with Copic Markers.

I added a bit of Diamond Stickles to the ring.  For the black trim on the cake, I used a black Copic Spica Pen.

The sentiment is from Cardz TV "This 'n' That" stamp set.

Just a Note.....

Happy Saturday!

Are you as ready for Spring as I am?  This winter just seems to never end!

In the midst of my hermit living this season, I created this lovely card.

The parts of the bear (body, face-2, & bow) were cut out of Xpress Cardstock using the complimentary SVG, then colored with Copics.  The dress was stamped (and hand cut) out of the same paper as the card accents.

I highlighted her with a clear Spica pen and a white gel pen.

For dimension, I popped the top face and bow on foam squares.

The frames (for the bear and inside sentiment) is a Samantha Walker Silhouette File (#14232)
The white ovals were cut from white Core'dinations cardstock.  The mauve toned frame was cut from pink cardstock in my stash.  The color of the cardstock was too bright for the feel of the card as a whole.  So I toned it down with Victorian Velvet Distress Ink.  A perfect match!  Some liquid pearls for the finishing touch.

For the challenge, I created a layout to feature pictures of our little ones playing for the first time in the snow this year.

(I apologize for the picture.  I couldn't get the layout to photograph well.)

The title is from Miss Kate Cuttables.

Here's my creation.................

I created a Halloween card with my daughter in mind.

I used a Graphi 45 paper and kraft cardstock for this little cutie.  Graphic 45 is one of my favorite paper lines.

I used a Tim Holtz distress tool to edge one of the 'cards.'   I also added Black Diamond Stickles and highlighted with a Spica pen.

Get Inky! Christmas

Happy Monday!

We have some new stamps being released at Get Inky!

This set is a Christmas themed set....

Aren't they just adorable?   I am very fond of this set...so many possiblities.

Here's a card I made with them.........

 (inside of the card)

This card was inspired by the Spring 2013 issue of Card Maker magazine.  A card by Anya Schrier was featured and I thought it would be a great layout/idea for any holiday.

I used Get Inky's Snowman and pieced him together with a hat and scarf.  The snowman was colored with Copics and highlighted with a Spica pen.  The red frame was dry embossed with a Sizzix folder.  The inside was created using the set also...and accented with Stickles.

This set is now on sell in the shop.  You can find them here
