Our sponsor.............

My creation.......................

I love, love this card.  The circles, colors fill my heart with joy.  Really!  :-)

The challenge theme is to use Numbers/Letters.  I decided to use both.  Letters in a die cut and numbers in my paper.

I used......
Paper from MME - My Favorite Things.
The Today circle and banner are cutting files from Scraptastical Kreations
I edged the pieces with fluid chalk in Chestnut Roan..accented with Liquid Pearls.

Happy Crafting!

All that Stickles Fall Linky Party

Happy Saturday!

It's a beautiful, cool fall-like day here in the Midwest.  I just finished painting our large living room (as many of you know) and it's time to spruce it up for the fall season.  I'm so excited!  :-)

We have a lovely ornate fireplace.  The woodwork is from 1891.

With my fireplace in mind, here's my creation.................

The letters are a from the Silhouette store.  I cut them using red, orange, and brown cardstock from The Paper Studio.  The pattern papers are out of a DCWV Halloween/Fall paper stack.

I accented the letters with Copper and Paprika Stickles.

After looking at my creation, I'm thinking I should have made them twice the size that they are.  Hmmmm.....a note for next season.  :-)

Mid-Linky Inspiration

Happy Saturday!

It's mid-linky inspiration for All that Stickles

Here's my creation......................

I made little journal for my baby girl.  I just became familiar with Zentangle.  My baby seems to have difficulty centering herself.  Since she is creative at heart, I am hopeful that introducing her to this will provide her with another outlet and resource.  :-)

For the cover, I used HL cardstock.  The pages were made out of  8 1/2 x 11 copy paper cut into fourths.  The pages were hot glued to the cover.
I stamped a few butterflies (Tim Holtz) and 'colored' them with True Blue (our current linky) and Fruit Punch Stickles.  The quote is from the same stamp set.
The letters for her name are from The Robin's Nest (one of our July Sponsors).  They are glittered, so they compliment the Stickles.
To give the cover a bit of charm, I used Antique Linen Distress Ink.
