CardzTV - Just for You

Happy Friday!!

Can you believe that Thanksgiving is two weeks away?
That means Christmas shopping!!   :-)

Lately I have been addicted to watching crafting videos.  One of my favorites is Kristina Werner.  And when I saw her post for gift card holders, I knew I had to make some.  They were so cute and personal.

And PERFECT for the new CardzTV challenge
"Just for You"
(Create a Christmas Gift Card Holder)

Aren't they just great?   I love how they turned out!  So feminine and festive all at the same time. I think my favorite part of the project are the envelopes.  They are so small.  Like baby feet.  :-)

The inside of both gift cards were stamped using the CardzTV Christmas Critter Captions Stamp Set

For the sentiment, I cut apart the "Have a Beary Merry Christmas! " sentiment.   Also, when I inked up the stamp, I wiped the ink from the exclamation mark.

I am so happy with these that I will be making tons for the holidays this year.  Such a personal way to give a gift.

Cardz TV 3-D Challenge

Happy Friday!!!

If you haven't seen the announcement over at Cardz TV, I have been given the honor to join the
3-D DT.

Wahoo!!!!!

And my first creation........................

I created a gift card holder.  My creation appears simple, but let me tell you, some planning and just a bit of creativity went into this beauty.  *wink*

The basic envelope/tag for the holder is a Jamie Lane Designs file.

I LOVE the look of this...but I needed a graduation theme...so I substituted the birthday cake for a grad cap.  That cap and tassel I used is from a Scraptastical Kreations file.  I used my Silhouette software to combine all the pieces and size them accordingly.

I created an offset of the graduation cap so that I had a base for it to be assembled and displayed on.   And for the holder base, I created an offset so that I had a mat for all the pieces to sit upon.

The diploma and banner were both popped up on foam squares.

For the sentiment, on the banner,  I used Cardz TV 'This & That' stamp set

I curved the stamp slightly on my acrylic block so that the words fit the banner a bit better. The sentiment was stamped with Ranger Archival Ink.

Peachy Keen Stamps 3D Flowers Challenge

Happy Tuesday!

I wanted to share with you a gift card holder that I created for one of my daugther's teacher.  I just LOVE it...it turned out so cute!

I used Scraptastical Kreations' Past Flower Freebie file, with a Peachy Keen Face, for the focal point.   I used Verve Stamps monthly challenge #1 sketch as my inspiration.
